Its been a hectic 3 weeks

Sorry I haven't updated in ages but I've been flat out, since my last post however I have actually accomplished afew things. I now have a job I am a Financial Research Assistant and am working about 5 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace, its still reasonably interesting, we deal exclusively in hedgefund investments and my job is basically to research what the investments are doing and plug the right numbers into a computer..pretty straight forward. Got my first pay today £740.00 for a week and a half work..pretty stoked seeing as I had to pay a £760 flat deposit last week and £210 in bills from my old flat today...oh yeah and then there is of course Amsterdam tomorrow night.

Have got a flat too now, the address is
90 Graveney Road
Tooting
London
SW17 0EH

and my landline number is 0044 2086726080

My phone is really crackly at the moment, will endeaver to buy a new one as soon as its financially viable. The flats pretty nice £99 per week inclusive of all bills, as well as a cleaner who comes in once a week. My flatmates are two Israeli guys Ron and Dynn and an English girl Shavaughn. I don't actually see them much as they all work in Bars and party pretty hard from what I can tell, a prime example would be this morning where I got up at 7am had a shower and started making breakfast when Shavaughn and Dynn arrived home from town.
Anyway flats in a pretty good location, Luke lives about 15 min walk down the road, Greg and Amelia are only a couple of stops away on the train and Sapph is only a couple of stops away on the tube.

Internet times almost up will , update soon!

Finally some news

Have been living at internet cafe's applying for hundreds of jobs, money is starting to run low however I do have a job interview in Southampton either later today or tomorrow so fingers crossed, the job is as a rollout desktop engineer which starts at £10 p/h though from what I can see with a little experience I should be able to get between 15 - £20 p/h if I move back to London. The problem with Southampton is that is not really much of a tourist spot at all and is a good 2.5hr bus ride from London...the other problem is that job requires that I have my own transport..which means if successful I'll have to make my way to a car dealership..more money to spend...I will also have to get a flat which means so many weeks bond in advance...so with all these money problems I have come to a serious decision.

A decision that all kiwi lads must make at some stage on their OE, when you've just had enough of the daily grind of work(or working to find work)

I've had enough

I'm leaving the country

I'm going to AMSTERDAM!

Thats right! dodgy cafes, picturesque canals, red light districts and bicycles. What more could a guy ask for?

We're leaving on Friday 28th July and returning on the Sunday, in tow will be Myself, Mike, Greg and the instigator's of this brilliant idea Amelia and her Mum

Anyway for now I gotta concentrate on this job interview.... first step find out what a desktop rollout engineer is...secondly download some tutorials for the job aspects I may have claimed as being highly experienced in on my CV and finally think of a great excuse as to why I will be unable to work on the weekend of the 28th
